Delegation of Powers (Under Regulation 7)
1, SELEMANI SAIDI JAFO, the Minister responsible for the environment, of P.O. Box 2502, Dodoma, in terms of Regulation 7 of The Environmental Management (Control and Management of Carbon Trading) Regulations 2022, DO HEREBY DELEGATE to National Carbon Monitoring Center to perform the following functions: –
(i) Coordinate functions of The National Carbon Projects Assessment Technical Committee.
(ii) Register Carbon Trading Projects under Compliance and Voluntary Mechanisms.
(iii) Measure, report and verify of Greenhouse gases.
(iv) Keep a register of all carbon Trading projects in the Country.
TAKE NOTE: This delegation of powers shall terminate upon withdrawal of the powers by the Minister responsible for the environment.
